We have recently purchased the brand new Liebherr 636 Gen 8 crawler. This is the first of its generations to be delivered to a customer inside the United Kingdom, being put straight to work this new crawler massively impressed us.
The machine weighs 22,000 tonnes with a huge amount of engine output, the standard size is usually around 135 kilowatts, but the new boosted power adds an additional 30,000 kilowatts of power ready to use at their disposal. Another feature is the bucket capacity for a machine of its size that is able to hold a weight of 2.4m³.
The powerful crawler will be hired out on a long-term basis to Humberside Excavations from Ashcourt Plant with availability for hire to generic customers after this.
