CONCRETE FOUNDATIONS FOR GLEESON DEVELOPMENT

CONCRETE FOUNDATIONS FOR GLEESON DEVELOPMENT

We recently delivered concrete to Gleeson Homes on their new development Poppy Fields in Horncastle, Lincolnshire. The 17-acre site on Mareham Road will include 169 new homes, made up of 2, 3, and 4-bedroom houses, 2-bedroom bungalows, and 1-bedroom apartments. Some of these will be part of the First Homes Scheme.

Our concrete was used for the base of an attenuation tank - a structure to temporarily store excess rainwater during heavy rainfall and release it gradually into a drainage system to prevent flooding.

We supplied a C35/45 DC mix, which was pumped using a 4Z boom setup with a 20mm aggregate, as well as a 10mm aggregate mix for tighter areas. The 42m pump provided the reach required for this project and helped the pours run smoothly and efficiently.
