Our second Volvo EC550EL excavator has finally arrived, making us the first company in UK to have two working 550 excavators. They are both currently onsite at our quarry where they are putting in the work feeding our Kleeman crusher. 

These excavators have the highest engine power in its class, giving us the opportunity to increase productivity by up to 20% compared to the EC480E excavator. Another benefit of these machines is the new electro-hydraulic system where oil is pumped according to demand as a way to eliminate hydraulic losses, improve fuel efficiency by 25% and give excellent controllability.
