In March 2018 Ashcourt were appointed as the principal contractor on a project which involved structural stabilisation and refurbishment works to a York Restaurant which was damaged by the 2015 York floods. The project held a value of £300K and took 8 months to complete.
The first phase of the project involved demolition and alterations including service isolations and removals along with the removal of internal basement floors for the temporary & permanent structural works, under an Archaeological watching brief. The work that followed included temporary works installation and permanent structure and civils work.
The final phase of refurbishment included damp proofing works along with internal works and M&E Installations and Alterations.
