Our concrete division successfully completed a 1,200m³ concrete pour, supplying our C40/50 mix for Balfour Beatty Civil Engineering, a Tier 1 contractor, for the A63 underpass project.

The pour was divided into four slabs, which were completed over a 40-hour period during the weekend road closures throughout day and night. We achieved this through the operation of our two Liebherr plants situated in Hull and Melton, each supplying concrete at a rate of 30m³ per hour.

We dedicated between 10 to 16 concrete mixers which supplied the two pumps on site, meeting the demand for each slab ensuring a continuous and efficient pour.

The effective execution of this project involved close coordination across multiple divisions of Ashcourt Group, including Ashcourt Concrete, Ashcourt Aggregates, ensuring adequate sand and granite supply, and Ashcourt Fuels.
