PHASES 2 & 3 COMMENCE ON CASTLE HILL'S MAJOR DAY SURGERY UNIT

Following the success of the Day Surgery unit at Castle Hill, works have now commenced on phases 2 and 3 for the project.

Phase 2 is the construction of a new 2,000m2 main entrance with the current groundworks focussing on the excavation and formation of foundations and drainage services with steel erection commencing on Monday.

Phase 3 is a further 4,000m2 treatment and recovery unit housing four additional new theatres for the surgery. We have already erected 180 tonnes of steel for this phase with the next steps being installation of the metal deck, roof and precast concrete panels.
